A day in the life
You transport exceptional goods. These include excavators, aerial work platforms, mobile crane parts and project cargo. You load and unload many of these goods yourself. You also ensure that the load is properly secured. Before you start driving, you provide your combination with the correct signaling (signs and/or lighting) and check the permits.

Our clients are located in all parts of Europe. From Northern Scandinavia to Southern Europe and from Great-Brittain to Eastern Europe. Therefore you will visit many countries and get to know different cultures. Wherever you are, you guarantee safety and quality at all times and you follow the applicable legel frameworks.

We are a passionate professional family business where the lines of communication are kept short. The culture on the workfloor can be described as entrepreneurial and informal. You will work in an inspiring and dynamic environment with pleasant and motivated colleagues. 

Our fleet consists of Volvo and Mercedes trucks plus Nootenboom trailers. Every truck is equipped with all the luxury (stationary air conditioner, parking heater, refrigerator, inverter) and both the truck and trailer include all possible safety functions.

New colleagues receive an intensive period of supervision through a mentor program so that you can develop yourself and master the profession. The first working day is all about getting acquainted. You will be introduced to colleagues and mentor, you will become familiarized with our corporate culture and you will receive an explanation of operational matters.
After that you will spend a few days together with our logistics department. Here you will learn how to safely load, unload and secure machines. 

As soon as you have mastered those skills, you will hit the road with a colleague. After 2-3 days you will set off independently and the mentor will continue to guide you along the way. Your manager will regularly contact you by phone to check up on you. You are always able to ask questions. Better one question too many than one question too few.

How do you contribute:

• At least 1.5 years of international work experience as a driver. 
• You have a valid CE drivers license in combination with a valid code 95.
• The European road network holds no secrets for you.
• On the road, you can easily communicate in English. 
• You set high standards for safety and quality.
• Given the nature of our work / work area, you are prepared to be away from home for at least 2 weekends per month.
